A little over 1 Cup of glaze plenty for glazing one bundt cake or twenty cookies

𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚛𝚎𝚍𝚒𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚜:
2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
1/3 Cup quality maple syrup
1 Cup sifted powdered sugar
A pinch of salt
1/8 teaspoon maple extract - optional
𝚍𝚒𝚛𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜:
In a small saucepan over a low heat, melt butter and syrup together, whisking occasionally.
Once butter is completely melted, remove from heat, add maple extract (optional) whisk in powdered sugar in large spoonfuls at a time keep whisking until combined.
Add a pinch of salt if desired. Cool 2-3 minutes - the glaze thickens quickly so feel free to but back on heat if needed.
