Decorate Your Unique Bookshelf Idea For Fall
Reuse old chairs
Maybe they’re hand-me-downs from family, or they’ve just been collecting dust in the garage for years.
At first, they feel like clutter, but once you start thinking creatively, they’re full of potential! I found this antique barrel chair at a thrift store and gave it new life by painting it flat black.
Whether it's giving them a fresh coat of paint, using one as a plant stand, or even upcycling them into something totally new, those old chairs can add so much charm and personality to your home.
Stepping out of your comfort zone and tackling a DIY project
Making a custom wood tray for the bottom of an old chair, can be surprisingly empowering. At first, it might feel a little intimidating—working with wood, measuring, cutting, and assembling.
You’re not just crafting a functional piece; you’re building confidence and discovering what you’re capable of.
Imagine turning a basic chair into something with extra storage or charm, made by your own hands.
It’s more than a tray—it’s proof that you can create something beautiful and useful, all while pushing yourself to grow and learn new skills.
