Ingredients:
4 boxes premade pie crust
21 oz can blackberry filling
1/2 Cup finely crushed almonds
1 egg
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees - optional line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
1. In a medium bowl, combine blackberry filling and finely chopped almonds.
2. In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon water and 1 egg for egg wash.
3. On a lightly floured surface, spread out pie sheets (bring to room temperature) and cut out 2 ghosts into each pie sheet, then brush egg wash around the edges of the ghost cut outs.
4. Place 2-3 tablespoons of the blackberry mixture in the center of ghost cut out, top then fold over the edges and seal with a fork.
5. Brush remaining egg wash over the top of pies.
6. Place the hand pies on the prepared baking sheets
7. Vent the pies: Before baking, make sure to cut small slits on top of each ghost hand pie.
8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
9. Allow to cool before serving. Enjoy!
