What you’ll need for baked doughnuts
Pillsbury Moist Supreme white cake mix has been the only brand and flavor cake mix I’ve used for baked doughnuts.

Milk and Cocoa Powder

1 box cake mix makes 22-24 baked doughnuts 2 boxes make 4 dozen baked doughnuts.

6 Tablespoons flour
6 1/2 Tablespoons sugar
2 Cups Milk
1 teaspoon Ghirardelli unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 Cup Butter
2 squares Ghirardelli unsweetened chocolate
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Sprinkles
𝚍𝚒𝚛𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚜
Homemade Chocolate Glaze
In a medium-sized pot, combine sugar and flour.
Set the heat to low and slowly add milk and cocoa powder to the pot.
Continuously stir the mixture and leave it on the heat for 10 minutes.
Once it starts to thicken, add butter, chocolate squares, and vanilla extract.
Stir until the butter and chocolate squares are melted and completely combined.
Remove the pot from the heat and set it aside, occasionally stirring.
Cake: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Follow the instructions on the boxed cake mix for adding whole eggs.
Fill the doughnut pan halfway with the batter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the doughnuts comes out clean.
Remove them from the oven and place them on a cooling rack. Allow the doughnuts to cool completely.
Once cooled dunk each doughnut halfway into the chocolate glaze.
Set back on cooling rack and add sprinkles onto each doughnut.
Transfer glazed doughnuts to refrigerator and lightly cover them with plastic wrap where they can stay fresh for up to 3 days. - enjoy
