Stuffed Blue Cheese Celery
Stuffed Blue Cheese Celery Rich, Creamy, and Bursting with flavor.
This Stuffed Celery Appetizer recipe was inspired by a 1949 Brown Derby Restaurant recipe.
They used butter and Roquefort cheese instead of cream cheese and blue cheese, but it's still the same concept—cheesy stuffed celery appetizers.
Who doesn't need a quick, flavorful appetizer now and then?
Whether you're hosting unexpected guests, craving a snack after a long day having a go-to recipe for something tasty and easy to whip up is always a win.

Stuffed Blue Cheese Celery Recipe
Ingredients:
1 bunch of small to medium celery
1 cup crumbled blue cheese
4 1/2 tablespoons softened cream cheese
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
Allow cream cheese to come to room temperature.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine blue cheese, softened cream cheese, and Worcestershire sauce using a large spoon.
Blend until all ingredients are well combined, being careful not to overmix.
Wash, clean, and dry the celery. Optionally, fill each celery stalk with the cream cheese mixture and cut into 2-4 inch pieces, or pre-cut pieces and fill the celery afterwards.
Sprinkle on top with Paprika, Dill or both.
Arrange on a tray and serve within an hour or two.
Storage:
The best way to store stuffed blue cheese celery appetizers is to place them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
For optimal freshness, store the celery pieces in a single layer, or use parchment paper between layers to prevent them from sticking together.
It's best to consume them within 1-2 days for maximum flavor and crunch.
