Raspberry Lemonade Recipe

Notes: Makes 4 Cups

Ingredients:

  • 10 large lemons (to yield 1 cup of lemon juice)

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 cup water (for the simple syrup)

  • Ice

  • 2 cups water (for mixing)

Directions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and the granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let the simple syrup cool.

  2. Squeeze the lemons until you have 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice.

  3. In a small pitcher or container, combine the lemon juice, cooled simple syrup, 2 cups of water, and ice. Stir well.

  4. Add raspberry sauce (Recipe above) to the pitcher of lemonade or set it out to add to individual glasses as desired.
